Growing up with Michele, both Pat and Patrick always made me feel a part of their family. Pat had an instinctive kindness.
One of the memories that I will forever hold and one that stands out for me was when I gave birth to my son Aaron, Pat and Michele were the ones who looked after me, surrounding me with gifts, flowers and the traditional "food box" for my hospital stay.
Another time, not that long ago, a large group of Pat's family and friends met for the traditional Christmas Eve gathering. Pat took herself off to the toilet, after a long period of time and no sign of Pat, we went to look for her, only to find that she had locked herself in the toilet and the lock had broken off in her hand. All we could hear was Pat banging on the door" help, help"
Management of the premises had to use cutting equipment/ locksmith to gain entry. Pat was OK of course( she got us a complementary round of drinks for that one) we all laughed for days over that event.
